Definition:
Title I requires employers with 15 or more employees to provide qualified individuals with disabilities an equal opportunity to benefit from the full range of employment-related opportunities available to others.

Deeming

Definition:
The process by which the income and resources of an ineligible individual are considered to be available to a recipient when determining eligibility or payment amount.

Social Security and Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI)

Definition:
Monthly cash benefit administered by the federal Social Security Administration (SSA) to retired or disabled workers and their qualified dependents. Beneficiaries must be 62 years of age or older, or disabled, and have enough work "credits" to be qualified.
